1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

• Forberedelse til språkprøver og muntlige eksamener

We may offer services in person, online, or in hybrid format. Specific course content, schedules, duration, class size, level, and delivery method may vary depending on the course description, booking confirmation, or separate agreement.

We reserve the right to modify course structure, teaching materials, instructors, locations, and timetables where reasonably necessary for pedagogical, operational, or safety reasons.

3. User obligations and responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering or booking.
• Ensure that you meet any prerequisites, age requirements, or level requirements stated for a course.
• Attend classes punctually and participate in a respectful and constructive manner.
• Comply with all applicable rules, instructions, and safety requirements communicated by NordSpråk Akademi or its instructors.
• Not disrupt classes, harass staff or other participants, or engage in unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory conduct.
• Use any online learning platforms, materials, and communication tools lawfully and only for their intended educational purpose.
• Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials, course access links, or other account information provided to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary equipment, internet access, software, and environment to participate in online services where applicable.

NordSpråk Akademi may suspend or terminate access to services if you materially breach these obligations, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.

4. Payment terms and conditions

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees for courses and services must be paid in accordance with the invoice, booking confirmation, or payment instructions provided by NordSpråk Akademi.

• Prices are stated in Norwegian kroner (NOK) unless otherwise specified.
• Payment is due before the start of the course or within the deadline stated on the invoice.
• Failure to pay on time may result in refusal of access to the course, suspension of services, or cancellation of the booking.
• Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or payment processor fees charged by your bank or provider are your responsibility unless otherwise stated.
• For corporate training, separate contractual terms, invoicing schedules, and payment conditions may apply.

We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If a pricing error is discovered after booking, we will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the booking where legally required.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation and refund rights may depend on the type of service, the timing of cancellation, and any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, the following general policy applies:

• Group courses: Cancellation before the course start date may be eligible for a refund, subject to an administrative fee where permitted by law.
• Private lessons: Cancellations made within a reasonable notice period before the scheduled lesson may be rescheduled, while late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
• Corporate training: Cancellation terms for business clients may be governed by the relevant agreement or booking confirmation.
• Digital materials or services already delivered: Fees for services already provided, access already granted, or materials already delivered are generally non-refundable, to the extent permitted by law.

If NordSpråk Akademi cancels a course or service, we will, at our discretion and where appropriate, offer a rescheduled session, alternative service, credit, or refund for the unused portion of the fee, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the cancellation.

No refund will be granted for missed classes, partial attendance, or failure to use the service, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

6. Liability limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NordSpråk Akademi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, exam results, language proficiency levels, or admission outcomes, as progress depends on individual effort, attendance, prior knowledge, and other factors beyond our control.

7. Intellectual property rights

All teaching materials, course content, lesson plans, worksheets, recordings, presentations, texts, graphics, logos, and other materials provided by NordSpråk Akademi remain our property or the property of our licensors, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the materials solely for your personal educational use in connection with the relevant course.

You must not, without our prior written consent:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or sublicense our materials;
• Record classes, lessons, or meetings where recording is not expressly authorized;
• Share access credentials, course materials, or digital content with third parties;
• Use our materials for commercial purposes or to create derivative works.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to NordSpråk Akademi may be used by us without restriction or obligation to compensate you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
